# Supported document types

Disclosure Ready supports a wide range of file types. Once uploaded, all files are automatically converted as a text searchable PDF. Both the original file and the PDF version are available to download at any time.

## **Supported file types**

| **PDF ** | Including publishing format such as epub, mobi |
| **Office documents ** | doc/x, xls/x, ppt/x, odt, ods, odp, odg, rtf |
| **Emails ** | eml, msg, mht |
| **Images ** | bmp, dcm, eps, gif, jp2, jpg, png, ps, psd, svg, tga, tif, tiff |
| **Audio ** | aiff, m4a, mp3, mp4, ogg, opus, wav, wma |
| **Videos** | asf, flv, m4v, mp4, mpg, mkv, mov, webm, wmv, vob, avi |

## **ZIP files**

ZIP and other compressed archive files are not supported. Before uploading, extract the contents of any ZIP file and upload the individual files or folders directly to your matter.

## **Password protected documents**

If any of your documents are password protected, remove the password protection before uploading. Attempting to generate a brief using password protected documents will result in an error.

**Note**: The easiest way to remove password protection is to open the document, print it as a PDF, and then upload that new PDF version.
