# Add documents to a matter

This article explains how to upload documents to a matter in Disclosure Ready. Watch the video or refer to the instructions below.

## **Adding documents**

1. Open the matter you want to upload documents to
2. Click **Actions** in the top right corner, then select **Add Documents**

1. Add your documents by either:
   - Dragging and dropping files into the upload area, or
   - Selecting files from your computer
2. Choose the folder you want to upload the documents to. You can also select folders individually

1. Click **Upload** — your documents will begin processing with optical character recognition (OCR) automatically applied
