# How do I import annotations from Adobe or PDF Expert?

Disclosure Ready detects annotations created in tools like Adobe and PDF Expert. When you add a document that already contains annotations, those annotations appear automatically in Disclosure Ready. 

Once the documents are uploaded to Disclosure Ready, you can: 

- Update the annotation content
- Add tags
- Add dates
- Search across the annotations
- Run reports across the annotations
